THE PERSON BEHIND THE BACK OFFICE

I make things for people—and I’m a little obsessed with making them better.

That’s the whole job, honestly.

Someone has a business, an idea, or a website that is quietly falling apart, and I see what it could become. Then I make it work better: cleaner, faster, easier to manage, easier to find, and more connected to the people it was built for.

I’m the person who looks at something half-finished, outdated, or held together by workarounds and gets a little thrill thinking about how good it could be instead.

WHERE WEBSITES GET MADE—AND KEPT WORKING.

What I’m actually good at.

My real skill—the one underneath everything I do—is taking something that already exists and making it sharper.

Not reinventing it just for the sake of making it look different. I find the friction, the missed opportunity, the wasted step, and the place where a business is still doing manually what a good system should be handling.

It might be a website that looks nice but does not bring in customers. A process held together by sticky notes and memory. A site nobody has touched since launch. Or a business with something genuinely valuable to offer, but a website that does not communicate why anyone should care.

I like solving those problems.

I like turning a website into something people want to explore—not a stiff online brochure they leave after ten seconds. It should guide visitors, answer their questions, earn their trust, and make the next step feel obvious.

And I especially like handing something back that works better than it did before—and watching someone’s shoulders drop because the thing they were dreading is now simply… handled.

Creative enough to make it connect. Technical enough to make it work.

I’m creative and technical, which is a much more useful combination than it sounds.

The creative side cares about how a website feels. Is it interesting? Does it have a point of view? Does it sound like the business behind it? Does it connect with the person on the other side of the screen?

The technical side makes sure it is fast, functional, secure, accessible, measurable, and built to last. It also makes sure the right people can find it through traditional search, local search, and the growing world of AI-powered answers.

That means thinking beyond basic Search Engine Optimization (SEO). I build and improve websites for how people search now—and how search is changing through AI, answer engines, and conversational platforms.

Most people in this work lean heavily toward either the creative side or the technical side.

I genuinely enjoy both.

Why I started The Digital Back Office.

I kept seeing the same sad story.

Someone pays good money for a website. It goes live. Everyone celebrates.

Then it is abandoned.

The agency moves on. The freelancer stops answering. Updates pile up. The content becomes outdated. The site gets slower, search traffic disappears, and eventually the whole thing is guarded by a password nobody can find.

The business owner did everything they were told to do and still ended up with a liability.

That bothered me enough to build a different model.

I design and build the website—and then I stay.

I handle the hosting, updates, monitoring, maintenance, search optimization, AI search visibility, and ongoing improvements. I send a clear monthly report with real numbers, written for a business owner rather than a room full of analysts.

You should know whether your website is being found, what people are doing when they arrive, and whether it is helping your business grow.

A website should be an active part of your business. It should adapt, improve, and earn its keep—not become something you paid for once and now quietly resent.

I don’t sell anything I don’t run myself.

This is not a marketing line. It is how I work.

I own and operate a portfolio of websites that I have built from the ground up. I host them, update them, optimize them, create content for them, monitor their performance, and watch the numbers every month.

I test ideas on my own properties before recommending them to someone else.

Every system I would build for your business has already been tested, broken, adjusted, and improved somewhere inside my own infrastructure.

So when I tell you something works, it is because I am actually running it—not because I read about it in a marketing newsletter.

Yes, it’s actually me.

When you work with The Digital Back Office, you work with me.

I am the person thinking through the strategy, designing the experience, building the website, reviewing the numbers, and deciding what should improve next.

There is no mysterious handoff to a team you have never met. No disappearing act after launch. No support ticket wandering through a maze.

Just one person who knows your website, understands why it exists, and cares about making it better.

The proof is on the home page: real websites, real properties, and real numbers.

A little more about me.

When I’m not building or improving websites, I’m usually working on one of my own business ideas, experimenting with a new system, spending time with my dogs, or finding another thing that could probably work better than it currently does.

Apparently, I do not turn that part of my brain off.

I work with businesses and people everywhere.

If you have something you want made—or something that already exists but deserves to be much better—I’d love to hear about it.
